Our Story
A small dream, 4,000 plates, and a whole lot of Maine.
Daddy O's began in May of 2008 in Oxford, Maine when Amanda and Aaron Ouellette fulfilled their dream of opening a diner. What started as a 44-seat spot has grown to nearly 100 seats at our home in the Oxford Plaza, and in 2023 we opened a second location in Mechanic Falls.
Over the years, customers added their own piece to the place — handing over license plates to be hung on the walls. There are now over 4,000 plates representing all 50 states and 13 countries. Bring yours next time. We'll find a spot.
Beyond the food, we're proud to support our community. Since 2015, we've raised over $150,000 for Special Olympics, local food pantries, and other non-profits across the Oxford Hills.
